International V-Label Awards – Entry Terms & Conditions

The International V-Label Awards are open to organisations that have V-Label certified products at the time of application. The only award categories open to ALL organisations, provided that they offer vegan products within their portfolio, are the “Innovation Award” and the "Best Ingredient Innovation (B2B) Award"

The Awards aim to recognise vegan organisations and/or vegan products for their efforts and proven track record towards quality, innovation, positive impact in their communities and sustainability.

1. Applicants

I. Eligible Organisations can enter any relevant category and can be located anywhere in the World.

II. Organisations must not be financially associated with V-Label.

III. Agencies can apply for the Organisation on their behalf but written consent must be obtained.

2.Categories and Entering

I. Information on available Award Categories is published on the website.

II. There is one winner and two finalists per category.

III. Entry fees are 100€ net per entry. Discount vouchers and early bird special pricing are available and applicable. Entry fees are non-refundable.

IV. All sums payable are subject to applicable VAT taxes for Swiss recipients of services. For all other countries, tax liability of the recipient of the services (reverse charge). With the reverse charge procedure, the sales tax liability is transferred from the seller to the buyer.

V. Organisations are able to enter as many categories as they wish, and can enter the same project into different categories but must understand that judges will not award the same winning entry in more than one category.

VI. The entry period is clearly published on the website and all other award related communications. We cannot guarantee the processing of any entries received after this date (unless a specified extension is offered).

VII. By submitting your application, you are confirming that you have the permission of any 3rd party or contributing partner, mentioned in the application, to enter the Awards and that you have obtained the necessary authority to do so.

VIII. Projects entered by organisations must be their own work or in direct partnership with a 3rd party. Any evidence of piracy will result in disqualification. VIII. Entrants accept and agree to the collection and retention of company and personal data, provided within the application, in order to process and make contact about Award entries

3. Judging and the Shortlist

I. The Jury will mark the applications according to the weighted criteria points.

II. The International V-Label Awards or the Jury reserve the right to transfer your entry to another category if it is deemed more suitable and dependant on level of entries per category.

III. Entrants must take into account the word limits specified in the criteria. If the Jury deem any entry that exceeds that limit as unnecessarily so, the entry may be marked down or excluded.

IV. If your entry is shortlisted, you will be notified during via the email address on the application form. Shortlisted entries will also be notified live on V-Label social media profiles

V. Under no circumstances will winners be announced or leaked prior to the Award Ceremony.

VI. The Shortlist will be published on the website shortly after notifications are sent out.

VII. The Jury Panel will consist of independent senior professionals. Additionally, shortlisted entries will be submitted to public voting for the “Special Consumers Award”, as well as to a panel of influencers & content creators for the “Special Influencers Award”.

VIII. The Jury’s decision is final and the entrants must not correspond with Judges, prior to the judging process, about the Awards, or try to influence their decisions.

4. Miscellaneous Terms & Conditions

I. The International V-Label Awards reserves the absolute right to exclude from consideration any application which, in its view, is either not consistent with the principles of innovation, quality and positive impact in the vegan space, or whose inclusion might constitute a reputational risk to V-Label and those associated with it.

II. The International V-Label Awards accepts no responsibility for entries that are not received, delayed, incomplete or are lost due to a technical problem.

III. Finalists, and subsequently winners, will receive a ‘label’ reflecting their successful participation in the Awards Programme. The right to use the finalist and winner logo is subject to conditions and to entering an agreement.

IV. The International V-Label Awards does not accept responsibility for damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred as a result of entering or attending the Awards. V. V-Label reserves the right to change or discontinue the Awards or any associated event without prior notice due to any reason outside its control.
